
The thing is, they *can* release it AND monetise it, by removing randomised lootboxes, and keep cosmetics, pay-for-convenience, battlepasses etc. Yeah I know, the law is stupid on why they can't release it.

Blizzard decided to not release OR adapt the game so it could be released in the Netherlands and Belgium. And diablo immortal shows that as clearly as it possibly gets. What they want from us is not our appreciation or praise, but our cash.

What remains of blizzard is a moneyhungry vampire with no regards for it's fanbase. I am absolutely disgusted by this, especially considering that I loved diablo 1, 2, 3 and blizzard in general. The game surrounding this intent is good looking, but has to serve the purpose making you pay.
